Microphone permission is needed once before device names show up. If a stream plays silent, it is blocking analysis — try the proxy box, or ask me to allowlist that host.
🎚️ PROCESSING
Pitch shift works on mic and streams (adds ~80 ms delay). Speed only applies to streams — a live mic has no timeline to speed up.
🔊 OUTPUT
Output device selection needs Chrome or Edge on a PC. On phones, processed audio plays through your speakers or headphones automatically — no output selection or VB-Cable needed for listening.
🔌 VB-CABLE ROUTING (how it sits in your chain)
Other app (RadioBOSS, music player, browser) → set its output to CABLE Input → this processor's input: CABLE Output → processing → this processor's output: CABLE Input → RadioBOSS / encoder listens on CABLE Output → Icecast / your stream.
For a mic straight in: input = your mic, output = CABLE Input, RadioBOSS listens on CABLE Output. For an internet stream: paste the stream URL, output = CABLE Input, and your station carries the processed stream.
Browser processor for hobby broadcasting — it shapes sound like a broadcast chain, it is not a certified FM exciter or limiter, and it only runs while this page stays open. Audio never leaves your machine except through the output device you pick (streams routed via the CORS proxy pass through your own Cloudflare Worker).
